Reverse image searches can prove useful. What if Google Lens could be used to get even more information about an image? This and many other things can be done with Chrome on your Android smartphone. All you need to do is enable experimental flag and enable find.
Google Lens: The Power of Google Lens
Google Lens does more than just provide a reverse-image search tool. When you long-press the screen, tap Search Google to find this image. It will analyze the contents of the image and identify them. You can also search for the section that interests you.
Chrome for Android recently added the feature and it can be used to perform powerful image searches. It is simple to enable the new feature.
Start by opening Google Chrome on Android. Type chrome://flags in the address bar. Search for the following in the page that opens:
#context-menu-search-with-google-lens
Next, change the option to Enabled from the dropdown menu.
After you have enabled the flag tap the Relaunchbutton to the bottom of your screen. To enable the feature, Chrome must be restarted.
When you long-tap on an image, you’ll now have the option to Search With Google Lens.
What’s Different?
As an example, we will use the below image. Google Lens analyzes the image after you have searched using this method. It has identified two items in the image, the sunglasses and clothing. To search for the item, you can tap on the appropriate section of an image. It displays similar sunglasses results in this example.
You can tap the magnifying glass to the left to access even more options. You can also translate the text or copy it. You can also search for products or food options in the image.
This is a great way to use Google Lens. This can be used for fun and recreation, as well as research topics on the move.
