Tencent’s Honor of Kings ranks high on the list. In 2018, the game’s annual revenue fell to $1.04 billion after it broke through US 1 billion. The income of Honor of Kings has grown steadily since then. It reached 1.15 billion dollars by 2019, 1.5 billion in 2020, 1.76 billion in 2021. In 2022, the game’s revenues reached a new peak of 2.2 million dollars. Honor of Kings enjoyed unprecedented popularity and profits due to the hosting of an electronic contest and the launch of international versions.
PUBG Mobile ranked second. According to estimates, the world’s 2022 income will reach 1.73 billion US$. This includes 1.27 billion US$ from China and 460,000,000 US dollars from elsewhere. Due to conflict between Indian sanctions as well as Krafton’s IP products, 2022 is expected to be a challenging year for games.
Genshin Impact was third and can be considered one of the strongest players on this list. Year after year, the game’s commercial success is making huge strides. Additionally, the revenue continues to rise year by year. In 2022, it will reach 1.03 billion dollars, the first time the product’s annual revenues exceed 1 billion.
Roblox, the fifth movie, isn’t so fortunate. Roblox’s 2022 revenue decreased by almost 100 million dollars, or 862 million dollars, when it was 958 million dollars in 2021.
